🧼 This is a self-catering rental. A starter supply of essentials (toilet paper, shower gel, etc.) is provided. Once these run out, guests are kindly asked to restock as needed.
⚡ Electrical usage: As in many historic Lisbon buildings, electrical capacity is limited. Using too many high-powered appliances at once (e.g., heaters, washing machine, hairdryer, toaster, etc.) may trip the circuit breaker. If that happens, turn something off and reset the breakers at the fuse box — this is perfectly normal.
🔇 Parties are not allowed.
🔊 We use a device that monitors noise levels (decibels only – it does not record conversations). This helps maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.

✅ CHECK-IN RULES:

-A few days before your arrival, you’ll receive detailed self check-in instructions, including all necessary codes.

-The apartment will be clean and ready between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM.

-Unfortunately, early check-in is not possible unless the previous night is booked. Check-out is at 11:00 AM, and the apartment needs to be prepared for the next guests.

-If you prefer an in-person check-in, we can meet you at the apartment. A late check-in fee applies: €10 after 8:00 PM, €20 after 11:00 PM, and €30 after 1:00 AM. (Cash only. In-person check-in may not be available after 1:00 AM.)

👋 CHECK-OUT RULES:

-Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. ⏰

-Please close the apartment door.

-If we’ve given you keys, kindly leave them on the dining table.

-Staying past 11:00 AM is not possible.

🔉 EXTERNAL NOISE

-Please note: the apartment is located in central Lisbon. Like most traditional buildings, sound insulation is not as strong as in modern constructions.

-The windows are well insulated and keep the interior quiet when closed.

- Occasionally, authorized personnel (owner, building manager, cleaner, technician, etc.) may need access for maintenance. We’ll do our best to avoid this, or to notify you in advance.

✅ CHECK IN RULES

-The building and apartment doors are opened using a code. Before your arrival, we will send you a detailed self check-in instructions. Including all the necessary codes.

-The apartment will be cleaned and ready for you between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM.

-Unfortunately, we are unable to offer early check-in — the previous guests check out at 11:00 AM and the apartment is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for you. The only way to guarantee an early check-in is to book the previous night.

-If you prefer, we can also meet you at the apartment upon arrival! Show you around and answer any questions you may have. In this case, a late check-in fee applies: €10 for arrivals after 8:00 PM, €20 after 11:00 PM and €30 after 1:00 AM. This fee must be paid in cash directly to the person doing the check-in. Please note: in-person check-in may not be possible after 1:00 AM.

-Please make sure that you carefully close the apartament door!
-If keys are provided, kindly leave them on the dining table before you leave.

🔉EXTERNAL NOISE

-Most guests have no issues with noise. However, please note that the apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon — a vibrant area with plenty of movement and street life. You may hear people or city sounds when the windows are open. Additionally, the sound insulation in older buildings is much weaker compared to modern constructions.

-The windows are well insulated and when closed - the apartment remains quiet. Still, as with any central location, some ambient noise may be present.
